>>2312545Yeah, so far I only have my eye on some trad stuff… can’t fine me if you can’t find me. Might even try to do no chalk ascents for full leave no trace. I did one solo out there, 5.3 at most if you just consider the fact you could slip and slide to the ground. One real rock climbing move that can be done in approach shoes to the top of Atlatl Rock. There are petroglyphs there though so I am hesitant to climb more there out of respect for the natives before me and the park service… but they already cut rock stairs and then put metal stairs right in front of the petroglyphs, so who is really harming the rock and memory? I don’t think it’s me considering they got up there with bare feet… I digress though. Valley of Fire definitely must be climbed!!!
