found this weird axe head in my grandpas scrap pile
the problem is making a handle
the eye is ca.1.5x1.9 inches sqare
not the long oval shape of a normal axe
the pickaxe ash gandle i cut to shape quickly split lenghtwise which i medigated by shrinking a PET bottle over it.
now im wondering if there is a correct way to handle such a type of axe or if this thing was forged by the townforge aprentence and is just ill shaped?
