I've got this RAT1 that I just recently sharpened and then I decided to further maintain it by cleaning out some rust/dust
I recently took it apart and put it back together only to find that the centering was way off. So I found a disassembly video and learned that my washers were off center so not everything was fitting together snugly when I screwed it back up. I went back in and fixed the washers and now it is centered when everything is tightened but now there isn't enough blade play. If I unscrew anything even a slight amount I get blade play but it's way off center again.
The only thing I haven't done is used any lube anywhere, I just cleaned stuff. Do you think I can chalk up the lack of blade play due to a lack of me not lubricating either of the washers? Or am I missing something else here possibly?
