Lowa something or other. Great boots, super comfy, but they're distinctly summer boots - not much of an issue here in SoCal, but I'd still like to get something waterproof for winter/early spring hiking while there's still snow in the mountains and for travel.

I bought them to use as actual work boots while working in an auto/metal fab shop and they were awesome in that role, the hard thin soles are particularly great for feel while working a TIG welder pedal. Nowadays I just use them when going out on the town or whatever, they even look pretty good with a suit.
