Interesting work, and a hell of a lot easier than roustabout, hotshot, etc. Since the work is specialty (especially if you've got certs to go with it) and you're usually working on contracts, you tend to get more respect from everyone else on the plant than just your average bullshit oilfield position.
Nice working outside sometimes. Shitty working outside in some of these places too.
