I take a few cameras with. I've got a helmet cam, point-and-shoot, DSLR, and the camera on my phone.
DSLR + glass + accessories live in a padded camera bag in my pack (part of the reason I need to carry my big pack when I carry my big camera).
On my snowmobile I keep my P&S in a case on the tunnel. A little easier there since the pack I wear on the sled is an avalanche airbag pack, and it's a little more involved to get on/off. When I do take the Nikon it's in my pack, wrapped in a towel.
