I did come across the Mystery Ranch popup earlier though. 18L capacity is more than sufficient for my daily needs, but having a shelf plus the extended frame when I need to carry things such as my hard cases, I think it makes a lot of sense. Admittedly, I could do the same thing with my current pack with the case captured between the pack and compression panel, we'll see.
