Both Dick's and Gander Mountain have been downsizing their selections of Mepps lately. I'm disappointed. I have such good luck with in-line spinners, and I barely ever catch stuff on regular spinner baits. And Mepps are the best in-line spinners of any company.

Those Lexas have always caught my eye. I have been debating a Daiwa for a long time, but their stuff seems to be either really cheap or really expensive. Not much in the range for a decent $120-$150 combo. I don't need any more rods, but I will think about grabbing a Daiwa. I've been trying to get into the baitcasters more since I bought that Revo SX, but I don't throw a ton of reel heavy lures with my pond fishing. That mediun/light spinning setup with a 6' or 6'6" rod and 10lb-15lb braid is my favorite. I can throw 1/8oz lures or 1/2oz lures on the same rod.
