Look up how to chin a pike too. Although My preference is to just lay them in the rubber net and unhook the easy barbless hook out with long pliers. Chinning them will make em open their mouth up a bit tho. But most of the time not necessary with a single, barbless hook being used.
Pike fishing; I use wire leaders. My friend got cut off with 40 lb flouro last month.
