in that a (sturdy quality) hunting/camp knife CAN be used for those things, in a no-other-option
survival type situation.
Of course even a Cub Scout knows you use a hatchet for splitting wood and a camp shovel for
burying your shit but your first and last piece of outdoors gear, should be a knife.
