>>179276I got a Trangia Taiga set (2 Pots & 1 Lid ), plus a Edelrid Kiro ST which is comparable to a pocket rocket. The whole set weights including a 460ml gas cartridge, 0.6L Trangia tea Kettle, spoons, wind shield and a small cutting board less than 1kg. I figured that a small frying pan is not much use to me, so I oped for the extra pot.
You will need some sort of a wind shield. I used this combo for a 14 days hiking trip in Iceland this summer with kinda nasty weather conditions. With the wind shield it works reliable and even cooking in my tent vestibule was no problem.
Could be done with a single pot, but the extra pot came in handy. The tea kettle is an absolute must, nothing beats a hot cup of tea or coffee when your tired, cold and wet.
Pic related, tea time in the swiss alps.
