>>1326033Plenty of sun- check
Watering sparsely- check, they sometimes even droop after a hot day and I usually water them in the mornings, when I know it's not gonna be hot day they get no water.
Fertilizer- check, when I use it, it's lower in nitrogen and higher in potassium plus added calcium and magnesium and few other micro elements.. I was specifically given this fertilizer for peppers and tomatoes
pH is around 6- that's why I fertilize with one that has calcium in it...
It's weird, they all get the same treatment, cayennes and jalapenos seem like they're not gonna be hot at all, tried lemon drop, it's nicely hot, one of the orange habaneros dropped off as a tiny green fruit and it's hot as hell, still haven't tried fully ripe one... Tabascos are just turning red, I'll pick one up in a couple of days and if that one ends up being sweet, well fuck it all then...
The weird part is, I have a few in the ground not containers, and they seem like they have the same problem..
Oh, and jalapenos should be "conchos" variety, meaning bigger then normal, but they're only like 5cm, either I was scammed by seed seller or something is definitely wrong nutritiously...
