Woo, I planted the peanut plants today. Sweet potato tubers are in, Niagara grape vine is planted, blueberry bushes are planted, mints are going nuts all over. I popped out the apple tree saplings and put them into pots. The elephant garlic is getting quite large. The tomatoes, peppers, and mustard all started blooming today, but they are still in trays. The tunnel with the horde of volunteer plants is outstanding and the lambs quarter is tall enough for me to eat.
I've been working on gardening nearly everyday, off only because of cold rain. The bindweed is still a huge problem. It is growing 1-2 inches a day. I found a couple 1/2" long sections of chopped off rhizome that were growing new plants, it is crazy.
