>>2264270congrats on the advancement op. I got pushed in a similar way, however it really started with a random decision to go camping when me and a few friends went to south dakota. After climbing we decided to hike up black elk peak and I soon realized how good everything felt. We took a camping trip to the rockies a year later. After 2020 I felt really lost and was just pacing through my day to day, working door dash to pay for bills and food. A weird decision to fix up an old motorcycle lead to an idea where I drive the bike back to south dakota, colorado to go summit some peaks, and go visit family in west texas. I picked up a stable job and have been looking forward to the trip everyday since then. Im planning to leave sometime spring. Checking up on this board helped guide me through gear choices and activities, rock climbing and kayaking. Im greatful for the information and the friendly anons all here just trying to get through it.
