Often like a reuinion of all the people you meet out on the road. Population jumps from 12k-20k for the area to 50-200k, internet and phone service sucks in those areas for those months, there's a few large gem/mineral shows, tons of swap meets and thrift/antique/random shit booths, a pow wow, largest sports and recreation show in north america(previously mentioned as 'the big tent'). You can get a 6 month pass to blm land for $200 that will allow you to set up in the BLM right outside town for 6 months in the same spot without moving.
