Hurrrr, let's see...
I live in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It's pretty cold here so it was even cloder 20k years ago...
1. The best buck on wilderness survival I can find.
2. Fire striker + flint
3. 100m of rope
4. A 12 gauge double barrel shotgun (MP-27 for example)
5, 6 - 100 n5 shells and 100 5.6 mm buckshot shells
7. Huge ass hunting knife (think kizlyar supreme delta)
8. A smaller skinning knife (kizlyar urban). A backup knife is important I think...
9. 1 liter water flask
10. sleeping bag
Clothing:
A full set of winter clothing (a russian winter gorka for example) with thermal underware, winter boots and very thick socks. I don't expect warm weather at all.
Backpack: some huge SPLAV backpack. The bigger the better.
I am not taking an axe since the big knife will perform as an axe easily.
Most important things in this climate are being warm and getting food, so a sleeping bag is a must.
Wood grouse can still be found here and it existed during mammoth times, so I guess I'll hunt it and other small game + elk. I didn't take slugs for elk, tho, so I have no fucking clue how am I supposed to hunt it. Will have to stick to smaller game before I find a way to kill elk.
I'll hunt smaller animals with my rifle while reading the survival book and learning how to trap game with snares n shit.
I should probably switch the 5.6 mm buckshot for slugs, I dunno. I intended to use buckshot for killing beavers and smaller species of deer but i am not sure they existed there at that time.
Im no fucking paleonthologist, fuck u op
