I know it's not the place for it, but the fishing were biting yesterday, and I don't have a reel for this rod. I'm still debating spinning and casting, now that I have learned about baitfeeding baitcasters. I caught one fish, the largie in the picture, which was immediately after my first cast. My fellow fisherman didn't have much luck either. I also used split shot and not a real sinker because I forgot to buy some. Very happy with this rod, except the reel seat is a little annoying.
