>>2524435>>2524435Hi guys, I did one for Canada based on my very limited experience. Maybe some of you can add to it or provide some feedback?
My justifications:
>Ontario (home): gets a 6 because while it does have some amazing outdoor spaces, like Algonquin Park, and of course the entire North-West of the Province, most of the Southern part, where people actually live, is pretty developed farmland and urban area.>Quebec: gets a 7 because once you get out past the Saint Lawrence seaway and associated large cities it's basically nothing but hills and wilderness and taiga.>New Brunswick: I give it a 7 too, it's small but it does have some pretty impressive natural monuments like the Bay of Fundy and associated areas.>PEI: gets a 5 because although it's beautiful and has an incredible beach (PEI National Park) most of it is densely-developed farmland. It's actually Canada's most densely populated province.>Nova Scotia: gets a 9 because of Cape Breton which is fucking incredible.>Newfoundland: gets a ? because I've never been there, but from what I've heard it would probably get a high score.>Manitoba: gets a ? because I've never been there. Churchill up north is a popular enough tourist destination, and most of the province is empty taiga.>Saskatchewan: probably the least impressive province in terms of natural beauty, it was mostly prairie in the past, it's mostly farmland now.>Alberta: gets a 9 because of Banff and Jasper alone, although the prairie is quite beautiful as well and Dinosaur Provincial Park is worth a visit.>BC: gets a 9, maybe should even be a 10 because honestly Vancouver Island, the coastline, and the rainforest, are fucking beyond incredible. One of the most beautiful places in the world, in my opinion.>Yukon: gets an 8 because it's basically Canada's Alaska minus the Coastline (that's in Northern BC).>Nunavut and NWT get a ? because I've never been there. I'm sure the tundra is beautiful though.
