An update to you guys after I returned my broken rod
>>1554288 I ended up getting a $76 gift card from cabellas after only paying 29. I now am left with the money without any casting rod at all. I only got there a half hour before closing and everyone was pretending to be busy and that they didnt see me so I couldn't sort much out. All in all I want
> 1.) An all around bass/light lure pike rod > 2.) A pike/muskie rod that can handle 2oz+ lures well and also some lighter bucktails > 3.) A reel that can hold up to I found a good and cheap rod that was a two piece ( 2 piece baitcasting rods are hard as fuck to find and my only option because I always keep all my rods in my trunk.
I'm thinking of going with a 7' H F rod for my all around bassing rod. Is that good? Medium heavy seems too flimsy for frogging and heavy jigs. I feel like the heavy could still load up some senkos enough to be a one size fits all.
Also thank you guys for helping me out. I'm kind of new to baitcasters and kind of new to rods that I haven't been using since I was a kid.
