I don't know if it's considered cheating, but I've taken camping gear in the ute that I leave at the pick-up point rather than weighing down the kayaks
Bike goes in the back of the ute with or without camping stuff, drive 15-20km to a secluded spot on the farm, leave the ute next to the river and ride the bike home. Kayaks go on a trolley that walks down to the creek, then it's a 30-40km trip by river because it winds around
