Pretty sure if there were any scientific evidence that said otherwise pro's wouldn't be holding their catches that was in front of hundreds of thousands of viewers with their sponsors on the line. These tournaments go to great lengths to make sure the fish are kept healthy from catch to live-well to weigh in and back to the water and you're ignorant to think otherwise.
