>>2168701Appreciate the feedback, brother. Sad you don't know who Snacks is, though. He was one of the original mod team here on 4chins way back when before mootie-kins fired him for turbofaggottry. I'm with you about the cigars, thats typically what I enjoy as well, a nice cigar and a drink around the fire at the end of the night, but the /out/ings with a pipe guys got me curious to try a pipe, so I picked up an inexpensive MM Corncob and thought it may be nice to enjoy along the trail if we stop for a rest or to eat or whatever.
>Better medical>cordage These two go hand-in-hand, i guess. I was mostly imagining the cordage being used in case of needing to make a split. Been there before and having to harvest everyone's belts to stabilize your buddy's femur is a pretty clumsy way of doing it. But I suppose planning for a broken bone, but not for bleeding is pretty silly. I'll toss a small pack of quick clot or a TQ into the boo-boo bag as well.
>Knife>LighterYeah, I'll probably have my edc knife on me anyways, but I generally dont carry a lighter, so a backup knife and a way to make fire will be handy. The nice part of using the SAW bag, is i can just unclip it from my ruck and pop it onto my belt, so I'm not even packing redundant equipment, it's all stuff I'd have packed into the interior cargo pocket of the bag anyways, just all put together into one easy-to-remove bundle.
