Do any of you grow non-sweet corn for making masa or just cornmeal/flour/grits? This is the first year I'm switching up to growing a sweet corn. I normally grow field corn like Painted Mountain. I have a bunch of Bloody Butcher that I've never planted. It's growing season is a bit too long for this area. I'll be grinding it up into flour this season instead of planting it. I'll be buying bags of Early Pink Popcorn and Fisher's Earliest Sweet Corn since both are short season varieties.
