Silverleaf Tree, looks similar to a pine, hence the silver cones. I believe it's currently endangered as it's only naturally found in 4 places in the world and all of them are within 400km of Cape Town, South Africa.
Fun facts:
>leaves turn gold when they die
>Germinates by fire like most other fynbos plants around here
>silver sheen is made by tiny and very soft hairs on all the leaves etc. Similar to sage I guess
Always fun to see one growing in the wild but they are kinda rare now days even in the areas they grow in..
