The show seems to focus on, other than personality, shelter building, hunting/fishing, gathering edibles, cooking and eating. Do that then throw in a gimmick "Grouse sort of tastes like Swanson Turkey dinner if you washed the gravy off" completely make this up and then say "your mileage may vary" YMMV is your goofy dumb phrase that will make the talent people go "wtf?? I don't think he knows what that means" Say it all the time but not so much to be cringy. I've always liked the characters that actually knew what they were doing.
