If you are going to put this thing in a pack, or in any way not carry it secure on your person in a polymer holster,
STOP
and get yourself something with an explicit thumb safety.
>inb4 1911fagNo. There are simply far too many people who have been maimed by this handgun because they don't really get that once chambered, it will go bang when the trigger is pulled - by a fence barb, a car door handle, a seat belt prong, a can of beans, or anything else that touches it with enough pull.
Glocks are combat pistols. Unless you plan to go into combat, get an M&P with a thum b safety. pic related.
