>>2320346i have the alpine. bretty good. never has let rain through. still get a little bit of condensation inside like all goretex but easy to turn it inside out and a quick wipe with a cloth and you are good to pack it away. unless its raining the way it can roll up the front hood and have a bug net for comfy sky view and lots of fresh air is great. also if it is raining you can put the vent hole in the zipper either side so you just breath out that way and my sleeping bag fills up the whole thing below my neck so the vapor from breath cant get down there.
my -30c bag and the bivvy rolled up together fit snugly into a 20l drybag.
much better experience than the army bivvy i had which let bugs in cause no mesh and fabric on your face stopping ventilation if you tried to block them out
