Hello, I found a couple of these mushrooms on a trail in the woods. This is not my pic, but it looks like this. There were different shapes, just like in the photo.
I picked one from the ground with its "root", and put it in a flowerpot at home. I also grabbed one cap because it was already ripped by someone/something on the ground. When I got home, I quickly looked at some videos on how to grow mushrooms at home, and ended up doing some kind of "spore" extraction on aluminium.
Left it for one night, and there are white spores on the aluminium paper. Only the edges of the mushroom left the spore, because the top area is not staying flat (kinda like an umbrella). Should I maybe press it with something, so it remains flat?
I didn't watch other videos yet, but I'll do it soon. For now, I'd like to know what type of mushroom this is. My quick search led me to a yellow Amanita Muscaria, but maybe there are other similar species. Regardless of the type, I'll still try to grow this at home for fun.
Thanks in advance for the response. Let me know if I should pick more of these before they disappear, since they are on a visible path.
