How she lays just depends on how I'm laying. she will usually lay on my chest or slid off on the side between me and the hammock. Or sometimes she lays under my thighs (theres a perfect gap between my legs and the hammock for her). If your dog is afraid of it just have him chill with you in it. Don't ever put him in it by himself. Dogs tend to be afraid of unstable surfaces.
