Is a 4 season tent necessary?
Should I get a sleeping bag rated for the temperatures I'll be enduring or should I just get the warmest one possible?
Should I get a wooden stove or a gas stove? Will it be too difficult to start a fire in the snow with wet firewood?
Will it be safe to drink snow water if I melt it and boil it or should I purify/filter it after it's melted?
Anything in particular I should bring or know so I don't die again?
I live in the PNW if it helps.
