>>370991The beer is just these things, because they're cheap and easy and actually not a bad summer beer as long as you pour carefully (they used to have a rather nice dark ale last year but they've gone mass market with the boring flavors). The cider is store bought preservative-free cider that I sugared up a bit and stuck an airlock on the jug (it's bubbling away nicely now while i decide whether i want to carbonate it or make applejack). My fermenter is waiting for the local trailside apples to ripen up. Found some by the road on my bike ride, but they were still pretty sour.
