There are plenty of other times where one can end up stranded somewhere with help coming *eventually* and not have a car. Hell, I ended up in a situation in a car with *no* guarantee of help and if not for my saw and knife (and a couple fleece throw blankets, though they didn't really help much beyond psychological comfort), I'd be dead. There was no forecast of snow, and I was coming home from a friend's house in WV and wasn't into /out/doorsy shit yet so I didn't even think about what could happen. I had the saw from clearing some branches for my dad a week prior and just left it in my car, and I always carry a knife with me.
>>1670186I've tried it. They hold a surprising amount when fully unrolled and placed in a sock. Maybe it's because I only use non-latex because of my latex allergy, perhaps polyurethane requires less force and has less elasticity to return to its original size and shape, but they hold a considerable amount very easily.
