Everyday consumer tech drones, no probably not. They're kinda neat but mostly they're annoying and fairly limited, unless you really need a flying camera platform for some reason you'll probably get bored pretty quickly.
/diy/ fpv is a great hobby though.

Also be considerate about where/when. They're annoyingly loud and a lot of people have a perfectly valid distrust for flying cameras.
