Sirius, Procyon, Castor, Pollux, Rigel etc are all naked eye stars that can be seen with any telescope as well. The Orion Nebula and Andromeda galaxy are capable of being viewed with binoculars, depends on how much light pollution you have. I'm in bortle scale 3 so this stuff is all easily visible to the naked eye. Memorize the locations of certain stars and you can find these objects without the aid of computers.
