I want to get back into fishing green bass, have only caught two in my life, a small pond one and an even smaller key-chain size one while trout fishing on powerbait, might have been a smallmouth.
Thing is, I don't have any good freshwater rods, but I got reels, an old small all metal penn spinner and citica 200e baitcaster I use for spotties in the bay.
What are two rods (spinning and casting) I can get for around $150-180 for both and what would I be using them for?
Also some general tips for fishing the shore?
keep in mind the bass near me receive A LOT of pressure, and I do mean A LOT.
