Got my first PA buck last year it was a funny way too I was getting out of my deer blind for the night not caring about making noise as soon as I get out of it I turn around and see him trotting over a stream heading up a small hill right towards me. I had a 450 bushmaster with a longrange scope on it and ended up shooting him 15yrds away from me when he got right on top of me and stopped to look at me.
But my favorite hunting is spring turkey. not freezing my ass off and very rarely sweating to death since you can't hunt past noon where I'm at. Getting in the woods on a 65 degree day with one layer of clothes taking a little nap from 430 to first light is something special. then trying a little hen cluck and hearing a big old tom gobble back getting closer and closer with every gobble until you finally see him strutting over to your decoy. awesome stuff man
next is deer followed buy rabbit/coyote/squirrel to fill the offseasons
