Just got my first deer earlier this week. 42m compound bow shot 5 minutes to last light. Was a learning curve with the gutting even though I'd watched a bunch of videos. Cleaned it up nice and got it home. Pretty neat experience. Went out alone and sat for 4 hours. Near dark I call him in from upwind in his bedding area with real agressive calls. A little spike also showed up near the same time and they had a face off. 9 point for my first deer was pretty happy. Thanks for reading my blog.
