>>2232215There's a couple of oaks near me that were knocked down in storms this summer, they're recently dead/dying. My hope is to drive a couple hundred spore plugs into them in the next few weeks, wax them over, then wait till next season and (hopefully) get some in far less than 30/40 years.
Chicken doesn't grow on the conifers around here I think that's more of a mid/west thing so I should be fine there. Worst case scenario I buy premade dowels, I really wanted to try and use this to make my own though
