HOWEVER
The old Trioxane fuel tablets (they usually come in a cardboard box of three) are old as fuck and only give off a decent flame for about two minutes. Nowhere near enough to cook with but they make for one hell of a fire starter. If you want some Esbit compatible tabs to cook or boil water with, I strongly recommend buying some of the modern ones online.
