I know that you use a whetstone to reestablish an edge, but since this came pretty damn sharp already do I just have to keep it honed for it to last me a while? I have a honing steel now that I use and works decently but is it worth upgrading to a leather strop? I hear thats able to get it to razer sharp. Also if I'm whittling on basswood with it, how often should I hone/strop it? Just when it feels like its not as sharp?
