Finally got a decent rain last night, nearly 20 mm. There is only so much water I'm willing to put on the lawn and its just been enough to keep it alive but not thriving.
13th picking of beans this morning brings the season total to 6.3 kg. First planting is nearly done so after I pick Monday I'll put in the 3rd planting. The starter plants are too tall, so my concern until then is protecting them from the wind.
Yellow beans yield is much higher than green and the plants are smaller, so I'll probably plant mostly yellow next year.
Pulled the potatoes from the first 2 of my 5 fabric pots since the plants are dying off. Tomatoes all started ripening a few days ago. Carrots are a bit slow since this year's rotation has them in a less sunny spot.
