Hey /out/, I've decided to start kayaking, I'm buying a touring kayak and am gonna paddle some local lakes and then try a few river trips. I'm taking a lesson first so I (hopefully) know how to not drown myself. Was wondering if anyone could offer me any tips? Also general kayaking stories or trips anyone have planned, it's all good.
