What do I do, where do I start? Should I start with a day trip or go overnight my first time? Where should I even go? There should be a lot of snow this winter so my options should be pretty big. I'm around the Bay area, so All of the sierras, stuff up north, ect.
WHat do. I have cold weather clothing and cold weather bedding. Not sure if tents are different, otherwise maybe an ice hammer, snow shoes or those ice chain things? any special equipment I should get/make?
