I also saw pic related. The Leatherman Freestyle and Gerber Cruicial. They are both around $50 and don't seem to have a ton of extra stuff. I need to look into the Freestyle more, I saw it on Gander Mountain's website but the pics and info were limited. Only tool it showed was the knife. I'm also curious about the weight and size.
I'm definitely going to buy at a store as opposed to online. It's hard to tell actual size and weight and make sure they are compact if I order online. Looks like almost everybody has the Skeletools in-store so I'm probably going to end up with that. Not sure whether $90 is worth the coated handle on the CX versus $60 for a regular.
There is a huge gun store right down the road, I might go check out that place. They could have a good selection. And grab an application for a FOID card so I can buy a Glock. Otherwise I will just hit up Dick's or Bass Pro.
