Cardboard garden anon here from months back.
Gotta say, it's worked like a miracle so far. The cardboard is still present is most places, partially broken down. Weeding has been minimal. Most importantly, the garden is growing very well. My pumpkins are absolutely taking over the garden though. Several shoots have extended over 20ft with at least 10 pumpkins growing. I had no idea they'd get this big
