>>1441963>>1442477I'm still playing around with this bow. It seems that 24" is all an arrow shaft needs to be and I've been making arrows from 5/16" thick oak dowel rods. 1 dowel rod makes 2 arrows. Since this is more for short range, small game hunting than say for deer, I can just use heavy blunt tips and duct tape fletching. I still haven't come up with an arrow rest that I like and I've tried 4 different ones.
Protip: a .30-30cal shell casing fits over a 5/16" dowel rod perfectly snug and tight, making a very excellent blunt tip for stumping and small game. (FOC 8.39%)
>>1444482That is interesting. I make a lot of slingshots. I know of slingbows, but never made a, "pouch," for one. I've been wanting to pick up some whisker biscuits for a few DIY things, one is for making a slingbow. You can probably tie an adjustable knot for yours, where they connect to the limbs, so you can center it up as needed.
