I have Daiwa Saltist 4500 5:7:1 that I plan on using it for surfcasting and some offshore fishing. I hope I bought a good one, I cant seem to find many 4500s now so I assume they have been discontinued.
Anyway.. What are some good quality rods and rings that I can equip this with for my two usages.

Mainly only interested in catching stripers and some flounder (I recognize that this is overkill for flounders), but if there are other tasty fish in the NY/NJ area I can fish for Id consider it.
