Bit of a gush here lads, what you see is the first time I ever hung my one and only hammock, the hennessy explorer xl asym zip. It's amateur at best, and I froze my ass off all night long. Why? I had what was called the kindle underquilt, by yukon outfitters barely on my hammock. It's a taco shaped underquilt, which means you have to straight lay in it. Since then I have gotten:
-snakeskins
-hex fly
-better straps
-modded it to hang with craabiners
-the jacks 'r' better mt washington 3 underquilt
which is kind of a funny story, because after ordering the nest originally from jacks r better i called thewm and had a friendly conversation for half an hour in which they determined i should get the washington, since i have a zip hammock. wonderful people, and the best customer service i have ever experienced.
