I'm sure this would be an interesting experience but considering the economy is about to go in the shitter, your homelessness might last longer than anticipated. Good luck finding work with a considerable employment gap like that.
It sounds like you just want a change of pace. Your job pays well but it leaves you unfulfilled. Is it what you wanted to do or what you just ended up doing? Does it make you happy? Personally, I'd rather invest that money into realigning my life to be more fulfilling rather than to be homeless. If you don't know what would make you happy, then maybe consider going for Merchant Marine or something. It's not as glamorous as zoomers would have you believe, but you're kind of homeless and get to travel to some degree. Plus you get paid. Expect grunt work though.
