>>918464eh s'nothing special anon. the boots are a few years old so the stitching up the back wore out and the leather just ripped along the perforated line. we were off-trail fucking around following a stream down a pretty steep hill toward a river. when we got to the bottom i started hopping riverstones and got my boot wet and felt a rush of cold water on my foot. looked down and saw the back was flayed open. so i grabbed the spare shoelace out of my pack and used the leather punch on my trusty SAK to make some holes and tied it off.
and yeah they're skechers, got em on sale. they're very comfy but obviously not the most robust for real hiking and stuff.
